Dollhouse lights and everything nice....

I had a fairly productive weekend and managed to get quite a bit accomplished. I also cleaned and re-organized the studio a bit and sorted out all the bears I am now going to be working on for the show. I have 11 critters so far. I need to have 20. I've also made various dollhouse lamps, a couple needle felted dragons as well as almost finished some tiny needle felted critters.

I managed to get a few new dollhouse lamps, miniature litter boxes and some tiny jester heads/dollhouse toys done. I have been working on them over the last few weeks. I am quite pleased with how they all turned out... and at least happy that I've gotten something done. :)

I had good intentions on getting much more done in the miniature animal line.. but I've decided instead to try to get more bears done instead. I've got many many bears and other critters lined up to sew... now I just need to get home so I can work! lol.

In Chinchilla news my last litter of Baby chinchillas are almost ready to meet their new Mommies. I will be very sad to see these ones go. I've become quite attached to the little devils. I am still trying to decide if one should stay with me... but I think I have new mom's lined up for all of them. :-/ Always a difficult decision to make.... heheee.

But anyway, I had better get back work here. I shall leave you with photo of one of my gorgeous Maine Coon Cats. Mouse, who I can hardly lift anymore he has gotten so big :) He was watching me work from the landing and I could not resist getting a cute snap shot of him.

Need to start again

So, I've been doing ALOT of thinking altely.. which is never a good thing for me to be doing. It gets me in one of my dark moods and that never benefits me at all. SO this week I am going to try to get back into the swing of things. Including updating my blog at least once a week... even if I don't have anything all that interesting to talk about.. lol.

I've been working on a few things for the miniature show... but I'm not near ready. I still want to make some tiny little bears.. I could really use a couple days off work to prep for the show.. with no distractions. :-/ Somehow I don't think that is going to happen!! lol.

I ordered myself a new little jacket the other week.. I got it yesterday. I am also in desperate need of some new jeans.. lol. I don't think I can order those online though! I will have to brave the school kids one of these days and make a trip to the mall. Here is a pic of my new Jacket though :) I love it.. I might order one in Black.. lol.

I got a surprise package from my sweet friend Chrissi from Catherwoods... some yummy salt water taffy from NJ... now I'm going to have to order some! heehee. I LOVE swt and the stuff you can buy here is not very good..... and usually only out at Halloween. Yum Yum Yum!

Speaking of Halloween I am starting to see the stores have Halloween things..... I bought myself some cute Halloween Oven mitts the other day.. lol. They can keep the house festive all year! lol.

Working again, yes, I said it!

I've been working in the studio a bit trying to get ready for the Edmonton Miniature show. I can't believe it's only a few weeks away! I am not even close to being ready. I will be working all weekend on minis, minis, minis.

I have been a busy little bee and I've made a website for the chinnies.
